Faith That Moves MountainsScripture: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."– Hebrews 11:1

Devotional Thought:Faith is the foundation of our relationship with God. It’s not about seeing, but believing in God’s promises and His perfect timing.

During times of fasting and prayer, our faith is stretched as we wait for breakthroughs, healing, or answers.

Think of Abraham, who believed God’s promise for a son even when it seemed impossible. His faith pleased God, and he became the father of many nations. Similarly, our faith during this fast is a powerful declaration that we trust God even when the answer is not yet visible.

Faith doesn’t deny the challenges we face—it declares that God is greater than the obstacle.

Like the mustard seed, our faith may start small, but as we nurture it through prayer, worship, and meditating on God’s Word, it grows and produces mighty results.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Are there areas in your life where God is asking you to trust Him more deeply?

  2. How can you use prayer and fasting this week to strengthen your faith?

Prayer:Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of faith. Strengthen my trust in You, even when I cannot see the outcome. Help me to believe in Your promises and to walk by faith, not by sight. During this fast, grow my faith so that it pleases You and brings You glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Action Step:Write down one promise from Scripture and declare it daily during your prayer time. Let it fuel your faith throughout the week.
